Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidenced-based, scientifically proven intervention for those diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum.
ABA therapy at Q&A Abilities Center starts with a comprehensive evaluation completed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The treatment plan development is completed in an inter-disciplinary manner, working closely with occupational and speech therapists to tailor a truly individualized, strength-based approach. The treatment aims to assist in skill acquisition, the ability to adjust and generalize in various environments and settings, improve social skills as well as increase their overall ability to navigate challenges successfully.
ABA services are center-based and provided in a child-led manner which encourages play, fun activities and socialization in a naturalistic environment. With individual and group settings, one is exposed to a variety of environments, situations and opportunities.
Understanding the importance of community and play, Q&A Abilities Center has 12,000 sq. ft. that incorporates real-life environments such as a doctor’s office, hair salon, store, dentist office and more!
ABA services are led and supervised by our highly trained BCBA’s and daily care is provided by behavior technicians and/or registered behavior technicians.
